Name: Kevin Thomas (Chair)
I can bring a broad scope of business experience, gained from sitting on the Howden Joinery Trade Executive Board and more recently setting up and literally ‘building’ a small, luxury holiday letting business whilst developing the 10-acre small holding where we live.
I have a proven track record with a high degree of commercial and financial acumen having had responsibility for a product range delivering turnover in excess of £750m, with year on year gross margin increases and major product development. This was achieved by developing a large multi-disciplined team that was passionate about growing a successful brand, delivering great products, with clear marketing and internal communications material.

Why a Trustee?
As a governor at Godolphin and the foundation governor since Godolphin joined SPCET, I have seen first-hand how successfully the local schools work together. As a parent, I have seen my children benefit from the cooperative opportunities that our schools provide. What we have is something special and unique, and the opportunity of forming our own cooperative multi-academy trust is both an exciting opportunity and a privilege and something I passionately want to be a part of.
